Good course for the price. Staff is friendly. Restaurant food is very good. Bar has a good selection of drinks.Course is fair but stay out of the rough and tall grass, the only real defense for the course. Course condition from tee to green is usually very good. I ould recommend this course to play.

Prairie Bluf is one of my very favorite courses in the Chicago area. Always in good shape, it is a challenge to better golfers (I play to a + index) but from forward tees very fair for average to high index golfers. No trees with the exception of one hole where a group of trees block almost the entire fairway and a real challenge to navigate. Without trees, wind is the equalizer and it is often quite windy but generous fairways/rough don't penalize errant shots too severely because you can find it and hit it again on most holes. Greens roll true and are usually mid speed. One of the most beautiful courses in the area, with plenty of heather and wildlife from Monarch butterflies to crains and soaring hawks. Easy course to walk.

Good Course. Good Value on the weekday. Links inspired course, with minimal trees. Fair yet challenging design. Greens were in great shape. Good course conditioning. Can play easy, or very tough if windy.
